School and Library Visits
CREATIVITY is a SUPERPOWER (& ALL kids have it)!
I love to visit schools! My full-day school visit program explores the behind-the-scenes process of creating my books: inspiration, research, writing, sketching, revisions, and final art.
Since I've written and illustrated picture books, early chapter books, middle grade novels and graphic novels, I am able to present to ALL grades (K-8). The presentations are tailored to specific grade levels using age-appropriate examples from my books. No matter the grade level, each group will get a detailed look at my process.
The visit day includes up to three presentations, lunch with students and/or faculty, and optional book signing.
I also offer workshops on creativity (grades 1-2) and making comics (grades 3-6). Workshops are best for smaller groups (10-30 students).
